CETECK TECNOLÓGICA S.L. has embarked on the project SMARTWELD: Early detection of low-quality welds in the automotive sector through Big Data modeling and analysis in Real Time, co-financed by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), Technological Research and Development program for SMEs.
The general objective of the project is focused on the early detection of low-quality welds in the automotive sector through Big Data modeling and analysis in Real Time. To carry out this objective, it has been necessary to combine emerging technologies such as high-speed Real-Time Big Data, Digital Twin modeling, combining both DDM and models based on normal physical behavior under suitable part conditions.
Thus, as the ultimate result of the project, it seeks to develop a powerful industrial WEB application for Predictive Maintenance, focused on detecting and predicting anomalies in the welds of industrial production chains.
The main scientific challenge we face is the ability to correlate welding process variables and incorporate other external measurements. Regarding technology, it is the complementarity of Big Data with the implementation of Data Mining and Machine Learning techniques.
